Christmas II

As I’ve mentioned before, most of the people who live in Chamonix hate Christmas because they have to work so hard. So our friends Ian and George decided to have Christmas II on Thursday night now that things have calmed down after the mentalness of xmas/new year.
Up at the farm on Thursday 10th Jan, 10 [...]

Rough as a badger

I usually really enjoy the first couple of weeks of a new year. I try to take stock of what I’m doing and what I’m trying to achieve and generally plan thing and sort my life out a bit. Not this year. Cos I’m feeling rough as a badger. There’s something about ski resorts that [...]

Back on the old stomping ground

My time in Brighton came to an end yesterday. I’m glad to have had the chance to get to know the place a little better, and spending lot of time with one of my oldest and closest friends was really good for me, but the commute was really doing my head in at the end.

Worries. No worries.

The dogs are back with their owners and I’m back in the office today. This past week I’ve been stressing about a lot of stuff. Too much time on my own maybe. Basically I’ve got loads of money owing from all kinds of places - clients, the tax man, even some deposit money from my [...]

Today are mostly going to be….. Gardening

I was in Carrefour yesterday after work. I kind of went in for a fridge, but ended up with a strimmer. I decided to sort the garden out at the back of the office. It’s a fair size - big enough for having a barbecue, but spring has sprung and the garden is growing out [...]
