Last year I was in London for Remembrance Sunday & actually went to the cenotaph to be a part of the crown and experience the ceremony. It’s something I’ve always felt strongly about since I was in the Boys Brigade when I lived in the Shetland Islands as a child. Mine is the only car in Chamonix with a poppy on the radiator (my mother collects funds for SSAFA & sent me one).

This year I’m paying my respects by listening to the service from Whitehall on Radio 4, observing the silence and not playing war on my Wii.
