Back to work

I’ve taken a few days break from work after working in an office for 3 months, eating well, sleeping in, catching up with friends and drinking plenty of wine. Verbier was a great day out yesterday too. The snow was surprisingly good - loads of it, and sunny skies. I was really happy with my new skis for the season too. The Vokl gotamers are massive, fat skis, heavy and strong for off piste, with huge twin tips, great for skiing backwards on piste and also sending up a great spray of snow into the face of anyone following you. And you know they’ll be following you because on these skis you’ll be BOOTING it.

Anyway, back to work. I’m back in the office giving it a bit of a spring clean and setting it up as a productive studio space for the next few months. I’ve got a single client for whom I’m developing drupal websites this winter, and several other fairly large projects for Listings Lab I want to do. Depending on the success of all that, when the Spring rolls around I’ll have some choices to make about where to go from here, but in the meantime it’s time to settle down and get stuck in. It IS all about the skiing this winter, but not at the expense of my work.
