An idea to save the planet
I've got to fly out of Stanstead today and it's winding me up just thinking about the security bullshit I'll have to go through. But in a moment of perfect clarity I've had an idea of how we can save the planet.
It goes like this. We remove all security from all airports. If you want to carry a gun or bomb on board, no one will stop you. Obviously the terrorists will start knocking planes out of the sky straight away. This will have the effect of making people REALLY think about taking those cut-priceeasyjet flights and will most likely stop people flying. This in turn will force airlines out of business and ground a large proportion of the current air fleet, thus decimating the massive tonnage of CO2 chucked out byaeroplanes at atmospheric level and thereby saving the planet.
