Back in Suffolk

I flew back to Stanstead last night. I stopped off in Divonne Les Bains to pick up Ryan and had dinner with him and Sarah before driving down to Geneva airport and stashing the bus in the parking lot. With an hour or 2 to kill Ryan and I drank beer and caught up a bit so it was easy enough to pull my usual trick of falling asleep 5 seconds after sitting down when we finally embarked.

I was at my parents place in Suffolk by midnight and here I am this morning. Ironing my black shirt and polishing my shoes ready for the funeral of Phil’s father this afternoon. It’s a sad event, not one that I’m very much looking forward too, but I’m glad I’m here.
