Chamonix-Valley on page 1 of google for ‘chamonix’
Today, after year of hard work, our www.chamonix-valley.com website has made it onto the first page of google.com
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=chamonix
This means a couple of things. Our competition websites have lost their unique selling point. They will now be very worried. And our advertising module which is about to launch is now a viable proposition to advertisers, backed up with very real, very real google analytic statistics and by very visible rankings in the search engines.
The stated aim of this site was to get 'ALL THE TRAFFIC', and today - we've come a step closer.

Dark Days
I dunno what’s going on with everyone at the moment. Run out of energy maybe? Cabin fever, but people in the valley seem to be down. It’s an effort to go skiing, an effort to go for a beer even.
The weather has been very closed in for a couple of weeks now. Raining most days keeps a low, grey roof over our heads and obviously with the mountains on either side of the valley pinning us in it can feel a little claustrophobic.
My issue it’s that I’ve got lots of fairly un-challenging work to crunch through and am having to spend a lot of energy trying to earn a living. Don’t we all, eh? It’s going well, though. After an initial shock to the system I’m getting used to working hard again and starting to get on top of things.
The good news is that the new memory for the macbook turned up this morning and Iinstalled it without a hitch. I now have a much faster computer, which can run my mail program, Photoshop, Firefox, Flash and Dreamweaver all at the same time whilst also playing music through itunes. In short I can actually use the thing to do some real work on now. I quite like it now, my macBook.
