Bit of a write-off New Year’s Day. In bed till 4pm, and frankly could have stayed there longer. Got up feeling the cold I knew was coming. Decided to make a trip into Cham with the boys to have dinner. Got a flat tire on the arsehole golf on the way. Was saved by the cavalry in the form of Johnny Slippers who turned up in the Landrover, drove us into town and had dinner with us & drove us home. What a great lad.

Woke up this morning and borrowed a jack and whatnot to change the wheel, so I’m on the road again, and now I’ve done the bloggin’ thing I’m off back home to crawl under the duvet with some dvd’s and lemsips and loads more sleep.

The good news is that it’s been snowing for 24 hours and will continue to do so for another 24. So as soon as my cold is over, I’m going skiing and it’s going to be knee-deep powder fantasticness.
