Flagging Blogging
I’m not sure why, but I’m blogging a bit less than usual at the moment. I think perhaps I’m trying to get my head down and do some work and that doesn’t really make for an exciting life to write all about. I’m setting up a blog for my sister and her boyfriend who are going off travelling on the trans-Siberian express and onto New Zealand at the end of the month, so perhaps they’ll be a bit more exciting than me.
There is some news from the valley today, though :
The Kandahar World Cup Ski race has been cancelled because of lack of snow. I happened to be driving up to the Houches this afternoon with a friend and the bottom of the race track was almost green, having been washed away by the rain over the past few days. Shame, really – I’ve been looking forward to that.
But there’s still the Les Bosson French Ski Jumping championships next month, so that’ll be fun too. I think we’ll have a Ski-Jumpin’ party that evening.
