More politics
I don’t know why I’m feeling so political at the moment, but I wrote this little piece about the recent wars in the mddle east on a friend of mine’s blog (http://www.democratic-conversation.com/), and thought it probably had a place here too….
Perhaps the real goal of these wars was to create a civil war. A lasting one that makes the countries involved far too fucking dangerous for anyone to even think about moving into the oil business. Which is now pretty much sewn up by the Americans. I mean, if there was civil war it would keep the natives pretty occupied wouldn’t it. And they don’t need to have too much freedom because frankly that’s dangerous for the stability of a status quo which involves an occupying force. Either a military or an economic one.
