Coupon clipping – an American institution
The coupon industry doesn’t really exist in Europe to the same extent as it does in the United States. I guess I’ve seen it on films, and read about it in books, but I never really saw the full extent of the American coupon obsession until I spent a few weeks at my cousin’s wedding in Denver this summer..
Of course, being a web developer, when I got back to Europe I had a look to see how this translates onto the internet. Obviously the coupon industry is well suited to the internet and the best site of is www.couponchief.com. They have online coupons for hundreds of stores. From the big brands like Target, Dell coupons and Gap coupon codes right down to the smaller players, Coupon Chief is really quite addictive. If you’re heading over to the states on holiday, and shopping is on your agenda, then have a look at the site before you go. You could save yourselves hundreds of dollars.
