It’s an international place, Chamonix, and we found a way the other night to translate our site into 8 different languages using Google’s translation service. www.chamonix-valley.com . I think it looks best in Arabic myself. God knows what it says, but it looks very cool.

You can try it out here – just click one of the flags to translate this blog into another language.

Nutrition for building strength

Monday, August 28th, 2006

Depending on what you want out of your body, it’s vital to put the right nutrition in. If you’re into sport in a big way, then you’ll already know this and you might be open to adding nutritional supplements to your diet.

I’m a keen skier and I’m considering taking an exam in the coming season called the test technique. It’s a ski race whereby a world class racer lays down a time and the rest of the racers have to within 1 second of that time to pass. Passing is important because it gives me the opportunity to work as a ski instructor in France.

Having tried and failed to pass this test in the past I was advised by a friend of mine that my technique is fine, and what I should concentrate on is building strength in the gym. So that’s what I’m doing now, and nutritional supplements are helping me to reach my goals.

At first I found it hard to find the supplements I needed, but then I discovered http://www.strongernutrition.com. It’s a brilliant website, easy to find and order what you need . I ordered a large tub of protein supplement from them and received the products within a week. Great support and service too.

Making money from my blog

Monday, August 28th, 2006

Over the past year I’ve been trying to work out how to make money from my blog. It gets a certain amount of traffic, and I have a readership, but was there a way to make some money from it?

Having studied and learned a large amount about internet marketing over the past year from a talented internet marketer friend of mine, it seemed to me that a solid, well placed link on a blog, within a piece of text which contains the right keywords is very valuable to someone wishing to promote their website.

But how do I reach this market, and how do I, once I’ve done that convince them to buy post for $10? The solution came when I discovered Pay Per Post. Pay per post offers bloggers hundreds of opportunities to create a post to advertise for paying clients. Signing up for the service is easy, and the criteria to meet are strict enough to make the whole process ethically sound.

Once you’ve signed up and your blog has been accepted, it’s very easy to start making money from your blog. Simply pick an opportunity, reserve it, create your blog post, being very careful to meet all criteria laid down for the opportunity and submit your post for review. To begin with you might have a few posts rejected, but soon you’ll be up and running and with a short amount of work each day you can create a regular income from your blog.
