Going smurfing
I’ve been getting a bit snowed under with work recently. It’s not likely to clam down for another month or so either, so to cheer myself up I’m planning to go surfing in August. There’s plenty of really good surf on the France’s atlantic coast, so I’m going to chuck tents and stuff in the car and go on a road trip. I can explore a bit more of France on the way down and go hang out somewhere near Biarritz for a while.
I haven’t been surfing for years, and suddenly I’ve been thinking about being in the water again more and more. Several hours a day in the sea, lots of wine and great seafood. That’s what I need.With a bit of luck I can convince my mate Ryan and his wife to come too before they start their teaching jobs at the end of the summer. Anyone else fancy going smurfing?
