The Antheor Barges (Les Peniches D’Antheor)

In October 1944 a british submarine made contact with 2 Belgian river barges, the Jean-Suzon and the Saint-Antoine, off the coast of St Raphael. The barges had been comandeered by the Germans and were being used to transport munitions to Marseilles. The British sub torpedoed the barges and they now lie between 25 and 35m.
