Another trip to the coast
I’m going back down to the Cote d’azur on Thursday. St Raphael about 40 minutes down from Antibes. I’ve got a few days spring diving organised. St Raph’s supposed to be one of the best dive spots in that part of the world. It’s where the Allied forces landed in 1944, so there are loads of WW II wrecks to go and explore in the gulf of Fréjus.
I’m driving down because I’ve got all my newly serviced dive kit with me, so I really should get round to changing my Golf onto it’s summer tires. There’s a lot of kit involved in temperate water diving, the water will only be around 10 Celsius, even though the surface temperature should be in the mid 20’s so I’ll be wearing my dry-suit. Also it will be the first time I’ll have dived since I had my eyes fixed, so I can’t wait to see what difference it makes.
